Swimming with UDASC

Made my first training session with my local club in Aboyne, Upper Deeside Amateur Swimming Club this afternoon. An indoor pool, raining out side and not that warm today so it was good to be indoors.

Made the full 2 hours session. It is amazing what your body will allow you to do. I haven't trained for 3+ weeks. I give myself plenty of time to recover from colds these days and in the medium term that seems to pay off.

It was good to be back in the pool.

Made my first 3 hour walk into Glen Tanner since my return back to Aboyne. Yellow is the colour of the grose flowers, brilliant yellow on a canvas of green. I think all the greens in the world were on show.

Lambs

The lambs have weathered the late winter and are happy in the spring sunshine. The grass is becoming more lush and green by the day.

I have adjusted back to life in Aboyne with ease, my cold is just about over. The Internet is keeping me close to Mountain View and because 12 weeks away felt like 12 days it does not feel strange and I feel lucky to have two great parts of the world where I enjoy living life.
